Tea Tree essential oil: The most famous one, the rock star of essential oils. Tea tree oil is an extract from a plant native to Australia. Tea tree oil was used as a topical treatment by the Aboriginal people for centuries. It appears to be effective with toenail fungus and POSSIBLY athlete's foot and MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), a type of staph infection that's resistant to many antibiotics. Although these studies are promising, more research needs to be done.

Eucalyptus essential oil: The handsome, fresh smelling one. Helps in easing skin irritation and insect bite, this oil has been renowned to relieve muscle pain due to its anti inflammatory properties. The anti inflammatory properties make it an excellent treatment for stiff muscles, aches and other pain related issues.It is also a strong antiseptic and an aromatic antibacterial disinfectant.

White Thyme essential oil: The silent assassin. White thyme essential oil contains phenols that have antimicrobial properties, which can inhibit growth of bacteria, fungi and viruses; this essential oil also has the reputation of being strongly anti-viral.

Black Pepper Essential Oil: All work, no play. This mildly stimulating oil helps to loosen muscles as well as a pain reliever for overworked muscles. Additionally, it can be helpful with arthritis, neuralgia, poor circulation, general stiffness, sprains, and sciatica.

Patchouli essential oil: The hippie healer. Patchouli Essential Oil has been found to be quite effective at inhibiting fungal growths and infections, thereby providing protection from some notorious infections like Athlete’s Foot.It has been known to help in the treatment of eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and sores. The strong sweet, spicy and musky aroma of this essential oil eliminates or masks body odor.
